Our Story

We started our business in 2002, C & J Cigars, wholesaling cigars to retail stores in the Louisville, Ky area. We are now one of the largest in the state. Along the way we have met many fascinating people of many different cultures. We thought it would be cool to open a place where we can bring these cultures and their products together. In the late summer of 2007 we opened a booth at the Worlds Most Awesome Flea Market in Shepherdsville, Ky off Interstate 65. Due to the growth of this business in the fall of 08 we went online with up-n-smoke.net and found a location to put our offices and shipping facilities together under one roof.

In the fall of 2010 we opened our first retail location. We are located at 110 Sparrow Drive in Shepherdsville, KY. We have a 2600 square foot showroom of the finest products we have found over the years and we are open 7 Days a week.

In early 2011 we opened another location in Louisville, KY in a community known as The Highlands. This smaller location features high end glass such as Illadelph, Tsunami, Roor, Blown and some local blown pieces.

In July 2011 we opened our third location in Valley Station, KY. This store is the one featured in our commercials and carries a full line of glass and accessories including top brands such as Illadelph, Zong, Tsunami, KGB and King Volcano just to name a few.

2013 has arrived and we have once again opened a new location. The demand for our presence in the Highlands is so large that we have opened our newest location on Bardstown Road. This quaint store has everything from metal pipes to custom made UNS Glass as well as a full line of vaporizers, hookahs and accessories.

2013 is well underway and we have opened another location in Bardstown, KY located on East Stephen Foster Ave. This location offers a wide variety of smoking accessories and a full line of E-Cigs and juices.

We are coming to the end of 2013 and we have moved our corporate offices to 821 Ulrich Ave off of Fern Valley Road. This new location has allowed us to combine our corporate headquarters, warehouse, web operations, the Print & Graphics division, the UNS Girls and a store all into one beautiful location.

FAQ

Here is a list of the most frequently asked questions.

Where is my order? As stated below, out of stock pieces can take up to three weeks to complete and send out. We do not ship Sundays or Holidays obviously. Most orders are shipped within 72 hours. However, we ask that you allow up to 4 weeks for delivery.

How are the packages shipped? All orders are sent out UPS with delivery confirmation in either UPS provided packing materials or plain white or brown boxes. Everything is discreet, with no indication of the products inside.

Are the photos the actual pieces for sale? Unless otherwise stated, the photos are only visual representations of the pieces being offered for sale. Each piece is unique due to the hand crafted and creative aspects of the art of glass blowing. Your glass will look similar in shape and design, but there will be some variation from piece to piece. All of my work is guaranteed to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Do all of the pieces change color? Most of the pieces featured on my site will change color with use. Some of the solid color worked pieces will not change color.

How durable are the pieces? Each piece is crafted from heavy wall (also referred to as double wall) Pyrex® glass tubing. The finished product is annealed to rid the glass of any stress induced during the working process. They are very resistant to impact and thermal shock. Glass is still glass however, and it will break if abused.

How long will my order take? Once payment is received, orders are processed and shipped out in 3 business days in most cases. Some pieces take more time than others, and may take longer if they are not in stock. Please understand that these pieces are hand made and non stocked and hot selling pieces can take up to three weeks.

What if the glass breaks on the way to me? Breakage is extremely rare, but if you are so unlucky as to receive broken merchandise we will replace it free of charge.

Shipping Information:

Free shipping offer over $200 is sent UPS ground(5-7) Business Days.

In a perfect world, all items would go out on the same day, but sometimes the orders don't go out till the next business day. It all depends on the time the order was processed and product availability. We will try to have orders processed and shipped by the end of the third business day. If you need an order by a certain day let us know by calling and we will do our best to get it out to you by that time.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:

100% Satisfaction is our goal.



For broken or damaged items please inform us within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will than have somebody contact you via e-mail to start the replacement process. The broken item(s) may or may not need to be returned. If they need to be returned we will send a call tag and than send the replacement out. We do not credit your card back for damaged items, but we will replace them with you understanding and cooperation. Please ask for details in your particular situation.

If you have received the wrong item, we will ship a replacement and send a call tag for the wrong item(s). If the item is out of stock, we will ship the item as soon as item is available and issue a coupon for use in the future. We only credit back if item has been discontinued. You could also select a different item of the same price as a replacement. By purchasing any item from our web site you are agreeing to these terms.

We do not make returns or exchanges for merchandise that is simply unwanted. Also we do not make returns or exchanges for merchandise that is listed as assorted or colors may vary. By ordering these types of merchandise, you agree to this condition and know that the colors or pattern you get can't be exchanged or returned. Please be certain that you want the items you purchase from us. Ordering wholesale merchandise to sell in your business involves a certain amount of risk. Some items may not sell for you, even if they sell well in other parts of the country. Some items may need to be sold at a discounted price.

*ANY ORDER THAT IS RETURNED TO US AFTER THE MAXIMUM FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS, WILL INCUR A 25% RESTOCKING FEE. THE REMAINING BALANCE OF THE ORDER WILL BE REFUNDED BY CHECK, MONEY ORDER, OR MERCHANDISE COUPON CREDIT VIA MAIL WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM DATE OF RETURN.
